Baltimore Ravens-Green Bay Packers: Injury Report
There is a hefty list of guys who find themselves questionable this week for the Ravens. Cornerback Chykie Brown, wide receiver Marlon Brown and wide receiver Brandon Stokley are all questionable with thigh injuries. Wide receiver Jacoby Jones might play this week for the first time since he was injured in Week 1 against the Denver Broncos as he has recovered from his MCL injury.
A new addition to the injury report this week is safety Michael Huff as he is dealing with a back injury. Rookie center Ryan Jensen practiced for the first time in quite a while this week and is questionable with a foot injury. Linebacker Albert McClellan finds himself with a shoulder injury this week.
Defensive tackles Haloti Ngata (hip) and Marcus Spears (knee) are both questionable as well. Running back Bernard Pierce finds himself questionable with a thigh injury and guard Kelechi Osemele is still dealing with back spasms. The only player on the injury report that sees himself doubtful this week is defensive tackle Terrence Cody as he continues to deal with a knee injury.
As far as the Packers go, they have a lot of players that will be out this week, including star linebacker Clay Matthews (thumb). Cornerback Casey Hayward (hamstring), linebacker Brad Jones (hamstring), running back James Starks (knee) and OL Greg Van Roten (foot) will all be out this week.
Cornerback Jarrett Bush is dealing with a hamstring injury and is listed as questionable. Linebackers Sam Barrington (hip) and Andy Mulumba (ankle) are probable, as well as defensive tackle Ryan Pickett (hand).
For me, the most interesting guy on the injury report for the Ravens is Jones. His impact this week should more or less be from the wide receiver position and not as much as a returner. His speed will be crucial in stretching that 26th-ranked pass defense of the Packers, but will he be 100 percent?
He will have to provide a solid compliment to No. 1 wide receiver Torrey Smith as this seems like the game where the Ravens can stretch the field for the first time all season with their aerial attack.
