Baltimore Ravens: Week 6 Studs and Duds
Baltimore Ravens Studs and Duds
The Baltimore Ravens played host to the Green Bay Packers team in a game that featured two of the last three Super Bowl winners.
Even though it was mostly a defensive affair, former Super Bowl MVPs Aaron Rodgers and Joe Flacco still had their way, as they threw for over 650 yards between them.
Some of the Ravens’s stars came to play, while others were MIA as Baltimore came out on the wrong end of the two-point game. Click along to see who really stood out, and who will have to wait until next week to make their mark on the game once again.

6. Ray Rice
Rice again had a bad day, as he averaged just 2.4 yards per rush on 14 carries. There has to be legitimate concern for coaches that Rice’s non-contact hip injury from a few weeks ago may be more serious than what has been previously revealed. Rice has lacked the explosiveness we are accustomed to seeing, even when he has gotten the ball in space.
5. Jacoby Jones
Jones returned from injury to do exactly what he does best: Provide big plays in few opportunities. Jones caught two balls for 42 yards, including a touchdown. Jones was also a factor in the return game, where he had a 35-yarder to help set Baltimore up in solid field position.
4. Elvis Dumervil
Dumervil had his best day as a Raven, and really displayed why they signed him from Denver in the first place. As the Packers focused on Terrell Suggs, Dumervil came off the edge for two sacks to help keep Rodgers on his toes all day.
3. Torrey Smith
For the first time this season, Torrey Smith was completely taken out of the game. This was also one of the few times where Smith might have been facing a defender faster than he in cornerback Sam Shields, and it showed.
2. Tandon Doss
Doss has great size and speed, and the organization has been waiting for him to turn the corner. Some day, the Ravens could look back at this day as the game he did it. Doss had his best day as a pro, with four catches for 99 yards, including a key 63-yarder late in the fourth quarter to spark Baltimore to a near comeback.
1. Dallas Clark
If it was not for an long-term injury to Dennis Pitta, Dallas Clark could have been sitting on his couch watching football like the rest of us. Instead, he looked like his old Colts’ self, as he stretched the middle of the field and had a late one-handed touchdown grab.
