Broncos vs. Colts: Andrew Luck Has A Chance To Outshine Peyton Manning
Andrew Luck has a huge opportunity in front of him on Sunday Night with the chance to upstage former Indianapolis Colt and current legend Peyton Manning. And Luck certainly has the goods to do it.
He can do it all. He has a cannon of an arm that can make any throw with touch, power, or accuracy. Unlike the great Manning he is also mobile in and out of the pocket and can beat defenses with his legs. He is the ultimate weapon at the quarterback position.
This game will certainly be an emotional affair as Manning and the Denver Broncos come into Lucas Oil Stadium to square off against Manning’s old team and the new hotshot quarterback in Luck. No doubt this is one Manning had circled on his calendar as a game he really wanted to win. Colts owner Jim Irsay certainly hasn’t made it hard for Manning to find added motivation either.
Beyond all the obvious storylines this should be a heck of a football game. The all time great against the up and comer with Manning vs. Luck should be a real treat for anyone who loves to watch great quarterback play.
Luck was said by many draftniks to be the best quarterback prospect to come out of college since Manning himself, and he has lived up to that billing thus far. He led a Colts team that was a horrible 2-14 the year before to a playoff berth and has them starting strong at 4-2 this season.
We all see how Manning turned around the Broncos in what has been a historic season for himself and the ball club. Fasten your seat belts folks; Sunday Night is going to be a thrill ride.
