New York Giants: Eli Manning Seemingly Has Nothing Left
Eli Manning is currently known as the younger brother of the great Peyton Manning, but the New York Giants QB has two rings opposed to Peyton’s lonely one. This means that one brother took an extra trip to Disney World by winning one more major trophy in the NFL. However, this does not mean that he is better than his big bro.
Eli has led his team to a horrible 0-6 start. Let’s all take a second to remember that it was just two seasons ago when he earned his second Super Bowl ring by defeating the New England Patriots for the second straight time on football’s biggest stage.
Where on earth is that guy?
Last season saw the Giants miss out on the playoffs, which made most of us assume that they would somehow someway bounce right back to the top of the mountain. But no; instead, they lost a whopping six straight to teams that they could have defeated if their defense stepped up and their QB concentrated solely on throwing the ball to his tight ends or receivers to win games.
Well folks, this Monday can bring the first victory for the Giants when they face off against a Minnesota Vikings side that will be relying on their newest QB, Josh Freeman, who was recently cut from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for ruining the beginning of their season.
Basically, this is the battle of the two quarterbacks who have a little something to prove to themselves, fans and organizations.
Prediction: NY 27 — MIN 24
This game will be close as both defenses will have solid games but the better QB will finally prove his worth.
