5 Teams You'll See Get a Win in Week 8

Jeffrey Pittenger-USA TODAY Sports

We are just about to the halfway point of the NFL season, and Week 8 is definitely going to be an interesting one. There were quite a few big-name players that went down last week with major injuries, and now we will see how those teams respond. We still have one undefeated team and also a couple of winless teams.

Peyton Manning returned to Indianapolis for the first time since being released by the Indianapolis Colts. Even though they welcomed him back with a nice video and a standing ovation, Jim Irsay was able to get the last laugh when Andrew Luck and the Colts defeated Peyton and the Denver Broncos to give them their first loss of the year. With the Washington Redskins coming off a high scoring victory over the Chicago Bears and Robert Griffin III starting to round back into form, will last week’s loss continue to hamper Peyton or does he put it behind him and defeat the Redskins this week?

Tom Brady and the New England Patriots lost a division game in Week 7 to the New York Jets, and another division foe visits Brady and the Patriots this week. Will Brady lead his team to a victory over the Miami Dolphins or will it be back-to-back division losses?

Those are just two of the many storylines and questions we can discuss heading into Week 8. I don’t have the answers to those questions yet, but the one thing I do know for sure is these five teams are going to add a win to their 2013 resume in Week 8.

New England Patriots

Brady and the Patriots lost a tough one to the Jets due to a penalty no one really knew about. With Miami coming to town this week, Tom will be ready and will not lose a division game for the second straight week.

Seattle was likely going to beat the Rams before Sam Bradford went down with an injury. Now with no Bradford on the field, it's a guaranteed victory for the Seahawks.

The only undefeated team left through seven weeks will be the only undefeated team left through eight weeks of the regular season. Kansas City will handle Cleveland easily this week.

Jacksonville hasn't won a game yet this season. After the 49ers leave town Sunday, expect the Jaguars to still be winless.

After the performance Josh Freeman and the Vikings put on during Monday Night Football, does anyone actually expect the Packers to lose?
