5. Maurice Jones-Drew

Let’s face it, the only accomplishment the Jacksonville Jaguars have any real chance of achieving this season is being the worst team in NFL history. Maurice Jones-Drew has been an absolute workhorse his entire career with the Jags for a team that has not been a real contender in a decade. The Dallas Cowboys have the often injured DeMarco Murray currently banged up at running back. MJD could be a real asset to the Cowboys, and the Jags kinda owe it to MJD to trade him to a contender.

Jairus Byrd has had an interesting year. He got the franchise tag, threatened to holdout, and has yet to be fully healthy. Regardless he is an All-Pro potential safety which is a position the Dallas CowboysDallas Cowboys could use help with. If Byrd is granted free agency after this season as expected, the Buffalo Bills would likely be awarded a third round compensation pick. If the Cowboys are willing to offer up a third round pick, they might be able to get Byrd from the Bills.

3. Jared Allen

Monday night it became clear that Jared Allen is being greatly misused. Not based on scheme or playing time, but based on a premier talent later in his career on a terrible team. The Minnesota Vikings are going nowhere this season, and Jared Allen reaches free agency after the year. A veteran player like Allen can make an impact on a contending team, and getting a draft pick for him is about as much value as he is ever going to be for the Vikings moving forward.

2. Vinny Curry

Vinny Curry is being wasted by the Philadelphia Eagles. He does not fit the 3-4 scheme and has been incredibly efficient in the rare four man fronts the Eagles have rolled out. It may be a long shot the Eagles would deal Curry to a division rival, but given all the defensive line injuries the Dallas Cowboys have suffered, he would make for a great addition.

1. Jared Odrick

Jared Odrick has been largely a disappointment for the Miami Dolphins. He can play both inside and outside on a 4-3, and being part of a rotation might make allow for greater success. The Dolphins are in the unfortunate position of sitting right on the wall between contender and non-contender, and dealing Odrick might be a sign they are conceding this season. However, a couple of late round picks might be able to get him.
