Antonio Brown Responds in Big Way in Pittsburgh Steelers' Victory

It can be safe to say that Antonio Brown had a chip on his shoulder after being benched last weekend.

The wideout for the Pittsburgh Steelers made a huge statement in Sunday’s game. Brown made plays in the passing game with six catches for over 100 yards and also in the return game averaging 37 yards on two punt returns to help the Steelers in the victory against the Buffalo Bills. When Brown was taken out of the game and benched in last week’s loss to the New England Patriots it probably did not sit well with him knowing that he is a better player than what he showed in Foxboro. This game against the Bills was his chance to show the team and the fans that he can be a top performer for the Steelers. When the team needed a big play Brown was the go-to guy this week.

Does this game give Brown his confidence to have future success this season? I believe it does. Players have good and bad days in the NFL, and I believe Brown just had a bad day against the Patriots. This game was his chance to prove that last week was a mistake and that he can be counted on every single game to make a play that can help the Steelers turn their season around. Brown showed in the game today that he is a player coaches and teams need to prepare for. He is a dynamic player that can make a big play at any moment of the game and can make the moves in the open field to extend and make things happen for the Steelers. The wideout from Central Michigan has made his mark in his rebound game. Big things are to come from this key offensive weapon.
