Tom Brady Faces Stiffest Test Yet In Carolina Panthers

Tom Brady has a daunting task on his hands. The New England Patriots have a road match up with perhaps the best defensive squad in the entire league, the Carolina Panthers.

The Panthers are simply a hellacious unit. They feature two fierce pass rushers in Charles Johnson and Greg Hardy. They also feature the best middle linebacker in the league, Luke Kuechly. Kuechly does it all, makes tackles, snuffs out pass plays, and gets into the back field – a stud in the making for sure.

Brady and the Pats are going to have to be at the top of their game to go on the road and beat these boys. The Panthers haven’t played a meaningful game in front of their home crowd in a long, long time so you know the crowd and the players will be extra charged up.

Brady has been getting it done all season with a patch work group of skill players. He is working with guys like Kenbrell Thompkins, Aaron Dobson and Danny Amendola who have bounced in and out of the lineup. Thompkins and Dobson are both rookies, one being an undrafted free agent.

The deficiencies on offense may finally be exposed tonight. The Panthers simply don’t give offenses much room to work with. This would truly be a masterful feat, if Brady pulled off the unthinkable and won a road game in a hostile environment, against this defense with a rag tag group of skill players. If anyone can do it though, it’s number 12.
