The Baltimore Ravens are just one year removed from winning the coveted Super Bowl. Although they were the best team in football a season ago, they have struggled mightily this season, posting just a 5-6 record through 11 games and are sitting in third place in the AFC North race. After signing a huge contract in the offseason, Joe Flacco has led the Ravens to just the 19th-best passing attack in the league with his 2,742 yards and 14 touchdowns, hitting Torrey Smith 48 times for 859 yards and three touchdowns. The next closest receiver is Dallas Clark with 30 catches for just 335 yards. Ray Rice has underachieved significantly this season as well, rushing for just 450 yards and four touchdowns on2.9 yards per carry.

After a terrible start to the year in which they had no wins through the first month, or so, of the season, the Pittsburgh Steelers have come on strong as of late, winning five of their last seven games to improve their record from 0-4 to 5-6. It has been a solid few weeks as they have reeled off three consecutive victories against decent opponents thanks to the strong arm and elusiveness of Ben Roethlisberger who has passed for 3,118 yards and 19 touchdowns after a slow start to the year. Antonio Brown has filled in rather nicely for the departed Mike Wallace, catching 80 passes for 1,044 yards and six touchdowns — leading the team in nearly every category. Le’Veon Bell has also come on strongly as of late at running back as the rookie has rushed for 455 yards and four touchdowns after missing the first few weeks of the season.

Defensively, the Steelers have been awful at stopping the run and good against the pass. Pittsburgh ranks 30th in the league in rushing yards allowed and eighth in the league in passing yards allowed per game while sitting at 15th in the league in total yards allowed. Baltimore has continually progressed on defense this season after losing a ton of key players from last season, ranking 10th in total yards allowed and seventh in points allowed.

PREDICTION: Steelers 27, Ravens 30
