It’s weird to see the Indianapolis Colts beat a top team one week and then get blown out by an underdog the next. People still don’t know the identity of this team because of the constant inconsistent play they have put forth this season. Andrew Luck was supposed to be the best second-year quarterback in the league, but has been great one week and terrible the next, amounting to 2,593 yards and 15 touchdowns on the season, but it looks like the loss of Reggie Wayne has hurt far more than people had expected. T.Y. Hilton has been the top wide out in his absence, but has struggled recently, accounting for 745 yards and five touchdowns on 51 catches in 2013. While they traded for Trent Richardson earlier in the year, he has been non-existent, rushing for just 287 yards and two scores.

The Tennessee Titans have also been inconsistent this season and they had played the Colts just a couple of weeks ago and lost after blowing a lead at home. How consistent are they? Well they are 5-6 on the season and have lost to the Jacksonville Jaguars — giving them their first win of the year. Jake Locker is out for an extended period of time once again with an injury and Ryan Fitzpatrick has filled in. Fitzpatrick has been solid in place of Locker, passing for 1,332 yards and seven touchdowns while Kendall Wright seems to be both quarterbacks’ favorite target. The young wide out has caught 65 passes for 763 yards and two touchdowns on the year. Chris Johnson has seemingly recovered from his slow start to rush for 705 yards and four touchdowns on 3.8 yards per carry.

Defensively, the Titans have been one of the surprise teams in the league. Although they aren’t overly-impressive on defense, they rank 11th in both points allowed and total yards allowed per game while ranking eighth against the pass. Indianapolis hasn’t been very impressive at all, ranking 23rd in total yards allowed and 27th in rushing yards allowed while ranking 19th in passing yards allowed per game.

PREDICTION: Titans 20, Colts 31
