The 9-2 New Orleans Saints face off against the 10-1 Seattle Seahawks in one of the best Monday night matchups this season. Both teams are vying for NFC supremacy and this game could determine which team will get the No. 1 seed heading into the playoffs. The game is a classic great offense versus great defense matchup with the Saints boasting a juggernaut offense and the Seahawks boasting a tough-as-nails defense. The game should be quite entertaining and there are some key matchups to watch for.

One player that could be in for a long night is Saints tight end Jimmy Graham. He is the best tight end in the NFL and he will no doubt get many different looks from the defense as they attempt to slow him down. One player that Graham will see a lot of on Monday is Seahawks strong safety Kam Chancellor.

At 6-foot-3, 232-pound Chancellor is a big strong safety and will use his physicality to try and disrupt Graham. However, Chancellor will not be doing it alone, and even Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said it would take a team effort to slow down Graham. The Seahawks have one of the best secondaries in the NFL as they are tied for the league-high 16 interceptions, and they also hold opposing quarterbacks to 180.4 passing yards per game, second best in the league.

The Seahawks’ defense is no joke and the Saints’ offense needs to be prepared for what they are about to face. However, I think the Saints are up to the challenge and the tandem of Drew Brees and Graham will figure out a way to produce against the Seahawks’ secondary. Graham is the best tight end in the game right now and on Monday night, he will remind everyone why.
