The Jacksonville Jaguars will look to start their first winning streak of the season tomorrow while playing on the road.

The Jags are coming off a solid performance where they defeated the Houston Texans and now they will take on the Cleveland Browns, a game they need to win to build some confidence going forward.

The Jaguars are clearly not fighting for anything in this season but credit has to be given to them based on how they’ve been playing in recent weeks. Despite having a very weak roster, every player has given his maximum effort to avoid having a winless season and if they want to continue on winning ways, there are some things that will turn out to be key for tomorrow’s game.

But nothing is bigger for the Jags than their running game and they will need to be very sharp rushing the ball if they want to take something out of the Cleveland Browns Stadium.

It’s no coincidence that the Jaguars have won two of their last three with solid running performances. Chad Henne hasn’t been able to be consistent throwing the football, but luckily for the team, Maurice Jones-Drew has been catching fire on recent weeks. He’s coming off his best outing of the year (144 total yards and a touchdown) and he will have plenty of chances to run the football as the Browns aren’t exactly a top unit against the rushing attack (sixth in total yards, 16th in total TDs allowed).

The Jags will rely heavily on their running game to get a win while plating on the road but if the team is able to repeat their recent performances, they will have good chances to come out on top once it’s all said and done.
