Nick Foles is putting up mind-blowing numbers right now for the Philadelphia Eagles. His 19 touchdowns to zero interceptions are second all-time to the great Peyton Manning. His quarterback rating of 125.2 if the season ended today would be the highest all-time for a quarterback in a single season.

There are no two ways around it. Foles is simply balling right now. The future looks to have arrived for the Eagles at the quarterback position, and it looks awfully bright. Foles looks like a legitimate signal caller. He is not making any mistakes out there. His decision-making has been sound.

Aside from one aberration of a game earlier this season against the Dallas Cowboys, Foles has played as well as any quarterback in football if not better, and this is a guy in his second season in the league.

The Eagles are getting hot at the right time. In the month of November and December. Ex-Eagles head coach Andy Reid‘s teams always used to hit their stride in the crucial months of the season. It looks no different for Chip Kelly‘s crew. More importantly, Foles seems to be hitting his stride. He and the offense are playing at an extremely high level.

The defense is really starting to come around too, and they have played fantastic football over the past two months. Foles is entering the game’s elite with the numbers he is putting up. This doesn’t look like a flash in the pan. Foles has arrived, and he is here to stay.
