5 NFL Teams That Will Definitely Lose In Week 14

Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

Week 14 features some pretty lopsided tilts. Parity is king in the National Football League, but on certain weeks, matchups are so one-sided on paper that a victory is all but certain. This seems to be the case in Week 14.

In both respective conferences, we are getting into the crucial month of December where playoff berths are won and lost. It is getting clearer and clearer who the contenders and pretenders are. Right now in the AFC, teams like the Denver Broncos and New England Patriots look like the cream of the crop. In the NFC, it is the Seattle Seahawks and then everybody else.

For all three of these squads, they face a relatively soft schedule going forward, in particular for the Broncos and Pats. Ditto for some of the other playoff teams. These games are far too important, and the talent far too lopsided for these contenders to fall to inferior opponents in the coming weeks.

The schedule doesn't lie. These teams are what they are at this point and there is a reason why they will be picking high in the draft in 2014. Unfortunately for them, their season won't get any easier as they take on juggernauts in both the NFC and AFC.

There are some real easy pick em games this coming week as it becomes clearer who will get home field advantage, and seeds fall in to place. Having said all of this, let's take a look at five NFL teams that will definitely lose in Week 14.

Tennessee Titans

Thomas J. Russo-USA TODAY Sports

The Tennessee Titans have been an up and down team this year, but their season was finally lost after the Indianapolis Colts dealt them a knockout blow last week. Ryan Fitzpatrick and the Titans don't have a prayer against the AFC juggernaut Denver Broncos.

Minnesota Vikings

Brace Hemmelgarn-USA TODAY Sports

Despite the Minnesota Vikings coming off a win, they face tough sledding this week having to go to Baltimore to take on the defending champion Ravens. With a dire quarterback situation and a struggling defense the Vikings will come away with a loss on Sunday.

Washington Redskins

Geoff Burke-USA TODAY Sports

Despite the Washington Redskins hosting the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, they don't stand much of a chance. This franchise is a disaster right now. Robert Griffin III is unhealthy and ineffective and the defense is as bad as it gets. This one will be a rout.

St. Louis Rams

Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

The St. Louis Rams got walloped last week by the 49ers. The road doesn't get any easier Sunday as they travel to Arizona to take on the 7-5 Cardinals. The Cards won't be in the most pleasant of moods after falling to the Eagles after some questionable referee decisions. Arizona should take care of the Rams fairly easily.

Cleveland Browns

Ken Blaze-USA TODAY Sports

The Cleveland Browns travel to Foxborough to take on the New England Patriots. Josh Gordon has been as good as any offensive player in football, but that won't be enough. The Pats will prove to be far too tough of a match up for the lowly Browns. Patriots in a cake walk.
