Top 10 Most Hated Players in the NFL
Top 10 Most Hated NFL Players Today
As we all know by now, athletes aren't always the nicest and best role models out there. Although they are expected to be great influences on children and fans alike, they sometimes fall short of expectations and let their reputation get the best of them. Some athletes are considered heartless, careless and selfish while others make up for it with great personalities and charitable work off the field.
We aren't here today to talk about the good guys in sports, we are here to talk about the guys that can't seem to stray away from hatred and have a hard time shaking the reputation that has been bestowed upon them through years of horrible off-field action and not enough image improving.
The NFL is full of great athletes, but sometimes those great athletes just shed a terrible light on the league. Watching these guys play every Sunday is a privilege and it's an even bigger privilege to play in the league and get paid millions of dollars to play the game that they love. In the past, we have seen many players accrue the reputation of jerks or hated athletes such as Terrell Owens or Chad Johnson. The great thing about these two is that we got to see them play on the same team and fail as a tandem of hatred.
Owens had a way about him that screamed conceited and just plain annoying. Watching his interviews was almost painful because he always overreacted or just gave off the impression that no one but himself mattered.
There are other players that are hated for other reasons such as hitting dirty, just playing dirty and trash talking. There are many players in the league today that are hated for the dirty hits they put on other players and that will likely land them on this list.
Check out this list of the 10 most hated players in the NFL and let me know who I've missed.

10. Tom Brady
Tom Brady is a fiery individual on the field and a nice guy off the field. So why is he so hated? Probably because he knows how to win better than anyone in the league. The guy is good and he will show off right in front of you on the field -- unless he trash talks and loses: see Richard Sherman situation.
9. Mark Sanchez
Mark Sanchez is known for his terrible play on the field, but I can guarantee that New York Jets fans and fans around the league hate the guy for caring more about his looks than his game.
8. Cortland Finnegan
Cortland Finnegan takes pride in getting under players' skin and it often leads to physical confrontations. The best case was when he took a head shot at Andre Johnson at the start of the play in 2010 and Johnson took exception to it. Watch the fight below.
7. Riley Cooper
Anyone who comes off as a racist is not a very well-liked individual. If you don't recall, over the summer he attended a concert and was caught on video using racial slurs and acting like a drunken idiot. Cooper then lost many fans and respect from around the league.
6. Steve Smith
Steve Smith has a habit of running his mouth before, during and after games that get opponents fired up. If he's not on your team, you probably are not a big fan of the aging trash talker and you may be wondering how he hasn't gotten in any fights yet -- oh, wait.
5. Dez Bryant
His sideline outbursts at teammates and confrontations on the field leave a bad taste in fans' mouths from around the league. When Dez Bryant left the game early against the Green Bay Packers, he lost all respect from his own fans and opposing fans alike.
4. Adam Jones
Jones has been involved in issues with the law many times but there is nothing more disgraceful than putting your hands on a woman in a threatening manner. Yeah, he did that. He has been in the NFL's dog house for years.
3. Michael Vick
Michael Vick will always be known for his dog fighting incident that landed him in prison for some time and he has never really regained support from fans around the league -- especially the dog lovers.
2. Richie Incognito
Richie Incognito is nothing more than a bully and that's pretty frowned upon these days. While it's hard to bully another grown man, Incognito bullied Jonathan Martin right out of the league. Okay, that's not the only reason he is on this list, he is also considered one of the dirtiest players in the league for his cheap shots and low-blow trash talking.
1. Ndamukong Suh
Ndamukong Suh is the dirtiest player in football. Even as a Detroit Lions fan, I know that he has a bad reputation for a good reason. He stomps on players, takes out knees and gets a cheap shot in every now and again, leading to his distinction as one of the most fined player in league history -- and he's only been in the league for a few years.

5 reasons Terrelle Pryor will thrive after joining the Cleveland Browns
A few weeks back when the Cleveland Browns announced they would sign free agent and former Ohio State standout Terrelle Pryor as a wide receiver, many heads were scratched. Pryor, 26 is entering his fourth season in the league and his first at a position other than quarterback. It wasn’t too long ago that Pryor himself told the media he would never transition into a receiver role because “he can’t catch.” However, Cleveland could be the hotspot for Pryor's success.
