NFL Playoff Picture: Ryan Tannehill Must Prey On Weak Bills Defense
The Buffalo Bills‘ defense really isn’t that good. Many NFL fans have jumped the gun by calling the Bills a top-10 defense, but that’s rather premature if you ask me. With a 5-9 record, Buffalo has struggled mightily on offense and the defensive side of the ball hasn’t been much better. With that being said, it’s time for the Miami Dolphins to do something in Week 16 that they haven’t done all year long — win four games in a row.
Now, for the first time since 2008 the Dolphins have a legitimate shot at making it to the postseason. However, a loss to the Bills on Sunday and Joe Philbin‘s team will be watching someone else hoist the Lombardi Trophy this February.
Whether it’s fair or not doesn’t really matter; because it’s a known fact that NFL quarterbacks are held to a higher standard than most other positions. Hence, it’s time for Ryan Tannehill to go on the road and earn his second “big-boy win” in as many weeks. Sure, Dolphins fans are raving about Tannehill after he lead a comeback to defeat the New England Patriots, but a clunker in Week 16 and those rave reviews will quickly turn to furious Rants.
So with a playoff opportunity waiting in the wings; it’s time for Tannehill and the Dolphins to carve up the Bills’ overrated defense.
