Denver Broncos Should Not Take Oakland Raiders Lightly

With Home Field Advantage on the line, it is best that the Denver Broncos finish the regular season strong.

The Broncos travel to play the Oakland Raiders in a game that means more to the Broncos than the Raiders. While the Raiders will be playing for pride, the Broncos will be fighting for home field advantage throughout the playoffs. It is a simple formula, win and the road to the Super Bowl will travel through Denver for the AFC side. However, this is not a team that the Broncos should be taking lightly. The Raiders would love to play spoiler, and this is a divisional game so you can always count on your rivals to put even more pressure on the team. The Broncos saw that against the San Diego Chargers a couple weeks back and even the Kansas City Chiefs gave them a challenge in their final meeting.

The Broncos can not afford to slack and let a winnable game on paper get away from them so easily. This is a Raiders team that the Broncos have not seen since Week 3, which was a 37-21 win for the Broncos. The game was not as close as the score shows and the rivals from California will be looking to exact some revenge from that loss. The Broncos have to take the home crowd out of the game early and score often. This is their final test and if they can come out with the win, they will have their home crowd behind them for the entire month of January.

One final test is all that there is for the regular season. Take care of business and the road towards the top will be in the Broncos’ favor.
