As a diehard Green Bay Packers fan and a huge supporter of writer/director Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Trilogy, I have to say that SergeantJonny’s “Aaron Rodgers Rises” YouTube video is the greatest video you will see this week.
It gave me chills and left me wanting more.
SergeantJonny made the video “in honor of Aaron Rodgers’ return to the Packers for the week 17 match up against the Bears.” His entire purpose of the video is to pump up Packers fans for the nail-bitter we are all about to witness on Sunday when the Packers take on the Chicago Bears in a contest that will decide who is crowned the NFC North champions. The winner gets to host a postseason game in the Wild Card playoff round, while the loser has to go home and watch from the couch.
The Packers-Bears is the NFL’s oldest rivalry. It’s one that has seen its fair share of controversy over the years, while it also has been the battleground for some of the greatest players to every step foot on a gridiron. Not to mention, legendary head coaches Vince Lombardi and George Halas fueled the rivalry in the 1960s as they made it perfectly clear that losing was simply not an option against the rival team.
“Aaron Rodgers Rises” is the perfect way for fans in Green Bay to prepare for the epic return of the greatest player in the league. Fans couldn’t have asked for a better Christmas present than to have Rodgers lead the Packers in a must-win game against the Bears.
