Eagles Fans Creates His Own Nick Foles Jersey By Using an Old Terrell Owens One
After a surprise run at the playoffs this season that ended with a first-round loss to the New Orleans Saints, the Philadelphia Eagles have plenty to look forward to in 2014–especially with quarterback Nick Foles under center. Foles was one of the greatest stories from 2013 as he set numerous records (including a seven-touchdown performance against the Oakland Raiders) while finishing the year with 27 touchdowns and just two interceptions.
Philadelphia’s Super Bowl dreams may have fallen short, but this city has plenty to be excited about heading into next year. There’s a good chance the Eagles will be favorites to win the NFC East once again now that it’s clear Foles is the quarterback to build the future around and chances are the quarterback’s jersey will be quite the popular buy during the offseason.
That is, unless you want to take an old Terrell Owens jersey from the back of your closet and personally make one on your own like the fan in this photo did.
That’s right, instead of going out and purchasing a new Foles jersey, this fan decided to create his own Foles jersey from an old one of Owens by changing a few letters along with getting creative on the numbers (8+1= 9 for Foles). The NFL has seen plenty of creative jerseys over the years, but when it comes to the City of Brotherly Love–this may be one of the most interesting ones the city has ever seen.
