You know those contests you hear of from networks like ESPN and NBC Sports, where they set out to find the ultimate fans? Well, as devoted as those past contest winners are to their respective teams, I believe one particular Seattle Seahawks fan has all of them beat — and it may not wind up being a good thing.
Die-hard Seahawks fan Tim Connors decided that prior to the beginning of the 2013-2014 campaign, his team had already won the Super Bowl. You know that feeling you had when watching Michael Jordan dribble the ball up the court with his team down by a basket with just seconds remaining? It was already over — he had that game-winner in the bag.
Well, Connors believed his Seahawks already had this one in the bag.
That’s right, Connors got a tattoo proclaiming his Seahawks as the 2014 Super Bowl champions — before the season began.
This weekend, we get to watch the final round of the playoffs prior to setting the stage for Super Bowl XLVIII. Lo and behold, the Seahawks are just one win away from the big stage where they will have the opportunity to prove Connors right. First, they have to get past the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday.
Will Seattle do their biggest fan a favor and ultimately bring home the Lombardi trophy?
