When you think of a professional football team the New England Patriots are likely the first organization that comes to mind.
The Patriots are really the envy of any sports franchise for a surplus of reasons. First and foremost, New England is always backing its team as the Patriots’ fan base is one of the most devoted in all of the league. With that being said, who in their right mind would complain about a Hall of Fame quarterback and possibly the best head coach in NFL history.
Well, Aqib Talib surely isn’t complaining about life in Foxborough. Instead, the defensive back is making it quite clear that the Patriots are head and shoulders above any other program in the NFL. In fact, Talib even went as far to say this when asked about his roller coaster ride of a pro football career:
“I’ve been in the NFL since ’08, but I’ve really been in the NFL since November of 2012″
While some may see this as a shot at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers — the team that drafted Talib — this ringing endorsement of Patriots-land is just another reminder that Talib isn’t going anywhere this offseason. Players oftentimes get a bad wrap for always wanting the money over wins, yet Talib all but put that theory to bed with these kind words of Tom Brady and company:
“It’s Monday nights after Sunday nights, playoffs. Tom Brady is walking around here. “
Once again, there is no way in the world Talib leaves New England this offseason for the cash. No possible way.
