Bobby Wagner is a key defensive player for the Seahawks, and all signs are pointing to the fact that Seattle will have to put in a masterful performance on the defensive side of the ball to win the Super Bowl. He is a pass rusher that can also intercept the passes and if he puts constant pressure on Peyton Manning, he could end up being recognized as the MVP of the biggest game of the season.
With the uncertainty surrounding Percy Harvin, Golden Tate has become the no. 1 receiver for Russell Wilson. If he is targeted – and found – often, he has the ability to make big plays. The Broncos aren't very good against the pass and if Tate is able to make the difference, he could come home with the MVP award once it’s all said and done.
Wes Welker is now the no. 2 receiving option for Manning, but his ability to make big plays can’t be underestimated. If Richard Sherman shuts down Demaryius Thomas, Welker will be heavily targeted. He has already shown an ability to produce in that role this year.
Knowshon Moreno is Denver’s primary option on the rushing attack, and since the weather forecasts are already predicting extreme conditions, the running game will be key on both sides. If Moreno is able to carry the Broncos to a Super Bowl win, he could easily be chosen as the MVP of the game.
Richard Sherman already shut down Michael Crabtree during the NFC Championship Game, and he will most likely go against Demaryius Thomas in the Super Bowl. If he puts on another dominant performance, he could easily win the award for the Most Valuable Player.
Demaryius Thomas has become the first passing option for Manning, and his numbers suggest that. His increased role on offense could lead him to have a great day in the Super Bowl, and it wouldn't be strange to see him winning the MVP award if he performs like he did in the AFC Championship Game.
‘Beast Mode’ has been at his best during the playoffs, and it seems like the Super Bowl will be his time to shine. The expected weather conditions are poised to affect the game and if the rushing attack becomes focal point of the day, no player will make a greater impact than Marshawn Lynch.
The Seahawks QB has been in a serious slump in this postseason, and the perfect time to get out of it is at the Super Bowl. The second-year signal caller has the ability to be a dual threat for the Seahawks and if he can lead his team to the victory, Russell Wilson will no doubt be a front-runner for the MVP award.
Peyton Manning is the leader of the Broncos' offense, and the team will only go as far as he can take them. Already a front-runner to win the regular season MVP, there’s no doubt Manning will win the Super Bowl MVP award if he leads his team to victory.
