Russell Wilson Talks Peyton Manning on Late Show

Russell Wilson

USA Today Sports

Russell Wilson just won the Super Bowl, so what did he do next? He did what many world champion athletes do following their big win — he made an appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman.

Check out Wilson chatting with Letterman on a variety of topics including: Peyton Manning, Pete Carroll and his height:

Following his appearance on the Late Show, Wilson then attended a Nets game where he sat courtside with Jay-Z and Beyonce.

So all in all, it wasn’t a bad 48 hours in the New York/New Jersey area for the second-year QB. Of course, Wilson seems to have handled himself with nothing but class the entire time. You can say what you want about the Seattle Seahawks, but there’s really nothing bad you can say about Wilson. He’s already in the same league of class that Manning is after only two years in the NFL.

The scary thing for the rest of the NFL is that the Seahawks are likely just getting started with winning championships. The average age of a player on the Seattle roster is about 26 right now. With the team still a year or two away from having to re-sign many of their top young players, there’s no doubt in my mind that they should be the favorites to win it all again in 2014-15.

Wilson is only going to get better and that’s saying something for a guy who just led his team to a Super Bowl.

Eli Manning Has Interesting Reaction To Broncos' Super Bowl Win

Eli Manning was captured on video making an interesting face when the Denver Broncos cemented their Super Bowl 50 win. The Internet firmly believes Eli is upset that Peyton now has two rings just like he does, but this is simply an overreaction. Eli was clearly nervous throughout the game, and his odd facial expressions are more indicative of a sign of relief than anything else.
