It's time to celebrate for the Seattle Seahawks and their fans. Opportunities to party like this don't come around all that often. In fact, for the Seahawks, it's an opportunity that's never presented itself. Super Bowl 48 marked the second time the franchise had participated in the big game and of course, the first time they've won the big game.

Following the SB, the winning team of course engages in a victory parade back in its hometown. That took place on Wednesday in Seattle. In this slideshow we'll take a look at the lasting images from the Seahawks first Super Bowl victory parade.

So now that Seattle has a championship on its resume. what's next? The word that's on everyone's mind? Dynasty. Pete Carroll claims that his team is just getting warmed up and there aren't many people doubting him. There really hasn't been talk of a dynasty in the NFL since the mid-2000s and the Patriots. But as good as New England was for awhile, the Pats never won back-to-back. It's just an incredibly difficult feat to pull off.

Can the Seahawks do it again in 2014-15? I see no reason why not. Mainly, it's because of the 12th man and the ridiculous home field advantage that the Seahawks have. If they take care of business in the regular season and clinch home field again, there's no doubt in my mind that they'll return to the NFC title game and likely the SB. There are really only a handful of teams that can go up to Seattle and pull out a win.

But all that aside, here are the best images from the Seahawks Super Bowl parade:
