Washington Redskins Post Last-Minute Valentine’s Day Cards On Google Plus

James Lang-USA TODAY Sports

The Washington Redskins have posted some Valentine’s Day cards on their Google Plus page for you to enjoy. Here’s one Redskins story this week not about a name change.

If you’re still looking for Valentine’s Day cards (shame on you) then look no further.

The Redskins prefaced the cards with, “Still trying to find the words to say how you feel on Valentine’s Day? Let these Redskins Valentines help you out!.”

Hey, anything that will add to my chocolates, flowers and dinner is always good on this day. And it’s not like you’re cramming Redskins conversation into everything that you’re doing with him or her. It’s just a reminder that no matter what you’ll love them, but you’re burgundy and gold 365 days a year.

The first card states “you’re a catch” featuring wide receiver Pierre Garcon.  The second gives you a little more flair (Office Space nod there) saying that “you’re a home run” showing running back Alfred Morris in his classic home run pose. The third steps up the swag with “I love you Barry much” featuring Nose tackle Barry Cofield. The final card says “you Rocca my world” featuring none other than punter Sav Rocca.

Now, if you don’t like any of those, you can always go with Robert Griffin III and Santana Moss card.

So if you’re one of those last-minute shoppers who have bought the flowers but forgot the card, you can’t say the Redskins didn’t try to help you. Better yet they’re digital, which means you can share them on Facebook beside the pictures of your kids and cat memes.

However, if your significant other is not a Redskins fan (how does that work?) then I would strongly suggest that you make your way to the nearest Walmart and get a card. Just saying.
