Jeff and Michelle Keller live in Mukilteo, Washington — which makes them big Seattle Seahawks fans. Anyone who was a fan of the team in 2013-14, was of course treated to the best season in franchise history. The Seahawks went all the way to the Super Bowl and waxed the Denver Broncos on their way to the franchise’s first Lombardi trophy.
To celebrate the Seahawks win in Super Bowl 48, the Keller’s decided to get a new license plate:
That’s right, 43 To 8. On first glance, you might find yourself wondering what the heck that means. But then it will all come rushing back — that was the final score of SB 48. 43-8 is a lopsided SB score to say the least, but that fact makes this license plate even sweeter for Seahawks fans…
Seattle is a unique SB winner for a few reasons. But above all else, the 2013-14 Seahawks are unique because they have a very realistic chance of getting back in the same position next season. Back-to-back titles are very rare in the NFL today. It last happened nearly a decade ago when the Patriots did it in 04 and 05, but a lot has changed in the league since then. The competition across the league is at all time high and the odds are against a team climbing the mountain two years in a row.
But with a very young nucleus still intact and with numerous Pro Bowlers on both sides of the ball, the Seahawks will be rightfully favored to take care of business once again next season.
