Everybody’s favorite incarcerated tight end is at it again, allegedly. Aaron Hernandez reportedly got into a prison fight on Tuesday with a fellow inmate. TMZ is reporting that an inmate was jawing at Hernandez all morning, and that later in the day the two crossed paths in a hallway. A fight ensued and the former TE apparently did a number on his jailhouse pal.

It’s previously been reported that Hernandez is being kept away from other inmates, presumably to avoid incidents like the one that occurred on Tuesday. There’s no word at this time whether the fight could lead to more charges against Hernandez. The unfortunate part for the once great TE, is that it probably won’t matter how many additional charges get filed against him. He’s more than likely going down for first-degree murder.

When your back is up against the wall and you have nothing left to lose, I suppose attacking a smart aleck inmate is the least of your worries…

When the Hernandez arrest first occurred last June, many like myself wondered if it would become the next O.J. Simpson case. But now eight months later, it’s pretty clear that the Hernandez case won’t even get close to as much publicity as the Simpson case. O.J. was a much bigger star and I just can’t see the general public getting as interested in the Hernandez trial.

Most have already written the former TE off as guilty, but until we hear all the facts in court, you never know what could happen.
