5 Questions You Wish You Could Ask Baltimore Ravens HC John Harbaugh

USA TODAY Sports- Mark Zerof

The Baltimore Ravens have been in the news quite a bit lately, and for all the wrong reasons. The Ray Rice incident was pretty difficult to watch, and honestly wish I had skipped that one.

This slide show will touch on that saddening topic, the Ravens hopefully revamped rushing attack, and even a John Harbaugh statue. That's right; you read that right. The older Har-brother is first to get a statue, which should do plenty to anger his little brother. Jim already has plenty to complain about with the way the San Francisco 49ers GM is jerking him around, but something tells me the head coach will stay in the Bay Area when this all shakes out.

This slideshow will also speak to whether Harbaugh would be fine with adding a homosexual player to the football team, and his response to that was quite indicative of the climate lately. Have been quite proud of both Michael Sam and Jason Collins in the past month, and think that professional sports is finally ready to lift some of the taboos surrounding this.

Apologies, will hop off the soap-box for now, but just think it is important to note that these are amazing changes happening in the world currently.

Was lucky enough to be in New Orleans last winter for the Harbowl, and even attended the press conference that their parents did at the Super Bowl media center. It was quite an amazing week, but unfortunately did not get a chance to make it to any of Jim or James' press conferences. Hope you enjoy the questions selected and stay warm out there.

5. What Are You Going To Do with Ray Rice?

The video of this incident is quite saddening, and if you missed it then you might be better off. The Ravens appear to want to keep their running back in the fold for now, but it would not surprise me if things change after the court proceedings.

4. Did You Secretly Want Your Little Brother Hired by the Browns?

That was a bizarre story, which came out recently. Believe that Jim Harbaugh will remain in the Bay Area when all is said and done, and that both sides are just playing a little game of cat and mouse.

3. How Do You Like My Statue?

John Harbaugh was the first Har-brother to a Super Bowl win, and now he is also the first one to get his own statue. It will be placed in Miami (OH) on April 19th, which should invoke the ire of brother Jim greatly.

2. How Will You Revamp the Rushing Attack?

a

John said recently that the Ravens are going to revamp the running game, but it is not clear how they plan to make that happen. We certainly do not know what is going to happen with Ray Rice, and the early indications on that situation do seem all that encouraging.

1. Would You Be Accepting of a Gay Player On Your Team?

a

Harbaugh recently addressed this as well, and his comments were quite predictable.

“Any player that has the qualities to be a great player and a good teammate, is a guy that fits us,” Harbaugh said at the combine when asked about Michael Sam. “We’re really good at helping players, any player, become a part of our team.”

Well, we will certainly be rooting for Sam to get drafted by the Ravens here. Thanks as always.
