Johnny Manziel

Johnny Manziel is easily one of the most popular quarterbacks going into the 2014 NFL Draft. Manziel would definitely bring some much needed good attention to the Jacksonville Jaguars and be solidified as the new face of the franchise. At the NFL Combine, Johnny Football ran a 4.68 at the 40 yard dash and showed he is a dynamic athlete who can make quick plays. He illustrated that he can scramble and bring a Russel Wilson like player to the Jaguars the likes of which they have never seen. At first the Jaguars were rumored to go defense heavy, but Manziel showed the Jaguars that he could be the guy they need to turn things around.

Blake Bortles

Even though the Jacksonville Jaguars might be intrigued to what Johnny Football can bring to the table, quarterback Blake Bortles could be their next option if Manziel is picked up ahead of time. At the NFL Combine, the Jaguars were impressed with his mobility and leadership. He could be a new target to help steer the Jaguars into a more potent and high-octane offense.

Tre Mason

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew will most likely leave the team come free agency so they will have to address this need at the 2014 NFL Draft. After seeing what Tre Mason was capable of at the NFL Combine, he could be a new target to create chaos in the backfield. Mason showed signs of greatness being able to run between tackling dummies with ease that could help bring a new look to the Jaguars rushing game.

Chris Borland

A surprising new target for the Jacksonville Jaguars has been linebacker Chris Borland. He was nothing short of amazing at the NFL Combine showing how fast and athletic he is. He came off as a tackling machine able to be a starter as well as an active special teams kind of player to create turnover opportunities. He would be a perfect compliment for Paul Posluszny.

Jadeveon Clowney

Even though most mock drafts show that the Jacksonville Jaguars will most likely go quarterback first with their first round draft pick, don't be surprised if they go after their new target. Their actual main new target. If anything was learned from Super Bowl XLVIII, defense wins championships. Jadeveon Clowney was a superstar at the NFL Combine to the point of proving he is a top three draft pick. Clowney is fast and has a keen sense of attack the minute he rushes towards opposing quarterbacks from the line of scrimmage. He will be one of the most unique talents in the draft and will be a huge contributor to a revamped Jaguars team who should easily improve for the upcoming season. Expect big things from his contributions the minute he puts on his new Jaguars uniform.
