It has been reported that the New York Jets and Detroit Lions may be interested in Sanders. It has been apparent that Pittsburgh has no desire to re-sign Sanders after his inconsistent play in 2013. Sanders would immediately improve the Jets' receiving corps and make them a better team. If Detroit signs Sanders, he would be a great complement to Calvin Johnson, who may be the best receiver in the NFL.

Charlie Campbell of WalterFootball.com indicated that several teams would be interested in the QB, including the Houston Texans. I know the Texans find their current QB status precarious, but are they really willing to trade their No. 1 overall pick in 2014 (and maybe another pick) to acquire Big Ben? I seriously doubt either team is willing to make this trade.

3. Will the Steelers Get a Long-term Deal Done with LB Jason Worilds?

Jason Worilds

The Steelers used their franchise tag on Worilds, which he accepted, so the former second-round draft pick is now guaranteed to make .754 million for the 2014 season. Both the Steelers and Worilds want to get a long-term deal done, but now Worilds and his agent will be expecting a deal that pays him around .7 million per season. Will the Steelers agree that Worilds is worth, say, million over five years? It will be interesting to see.

Jermichael Finley

Boston Globe's Ben Volin sent out a tweet stating the Steelers are one of the teams interested in signing Finley, a free agent tight end. The Steelers aren't known for taking risks, and signing Finley would certainly be a risk since he still has not been medically cleared to play. However, when he is healthy, Finley is extremely productive. If the price is low enough, the Steelers may take a little bit of a gamble.

1. Will the Steelers Sign CB Alterraun Verner?

1. Will the Steelers Sign CB Alterraun Verner?

Alterraun Verner

Verner is probably the top free agent cornerback this offseason and he will be expensive to sign — probably around million per year for four or five years. If the Steelers sign Verner, they will likely cut Ike Taylor. With cornerback being one of their top needs going into 2014, the Steelers might justify signing Verner.
