Heinz Field Pittsburgh Steelers — If you are a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, or even of the NFL in general, you have probably noticed that the Steelers aren't a team that makes big splashes in free agency. Well, it's true; the Steelers prefer to build their teams through the draft. Even though the Steelers don't often make impactful free agent signings, that doesn't mean they haven't ever done so. Here are the five biggest signings in the history of the franchise.

However, he was a very good player on the field. In six seasons with the Steelers, von Oehhoffen recorded 20.5 sacks and 124 tackles.
