The New York Giants have been making some solid acquisitions so far in free agency. Does that change their 2014 NFL Draft plans? Not a whole lot, if you think about it. The Giants still have some needs to address on the offensive side of the football.

Take a look at some updated first round scenarios based on their latest free agency signings.

Last season was a major indication that the Giants absolutely need to make sure they have plenty of depth on their offensive line. It wouldn't surprise many if in the first round the Giants drafted an anchor like Gabe Jackson to the team. He's a solid pass blocker and knows how to set up key blocks for big rushing plays.

It's been a while since the Giants have been consistent on all aspects when it comes to their defense. It's always a good idea to inject youth and future prospects into the team, since there are quite a few great options to choose from in the draft. A stud like Aaron Donald would be ideal for the Giants' defensive schemes. He would be great to disrupt rushing plays, as well as go after opposing quarterbacks with ferocity.

Drafting a top defensive end prospect for the Giants is a no-brainer since after next season, Jason Pierre-Paul will be an unrestricted free agent. It makes sense for the Giants to address the possibility of his departure after next year by drafting someone with the caliber to be his replacement. Mike Evans would fit the bill perfectly for the Giants and become the next big thing for years to come on their defensive line.

The Giants were able to secure Mario Manningham to return via free agency, and also have plenty of in-house receivers to keep the chains moving. The only issue they need to address is drafting a high quality and, more importantly, speedy receiver to complement the solid core of veterans. Mike Evans would be great for the Giants with his speed and bring the team more options for deep plays down the field.

The Giants haven't had a solid tight end since Jeremy Shockey. It's about time they finally address this issue by drafting one of the best coming out of the draft. Eric Ebron made plenty of headlines at the NFL Combine with his skills, and will surely have amazing success in the league. If Ebron is still available once the Giants get to their 12th pick, expect them to sign him and have future headlines read "Manning to Ebron" for years to come...
