This has been a very rough offseason for the Carolina Panthers. From the release of star receiver Steve Smith to the retirement of offensive tackle Jordan Gross, the team has had a massive amount of turnover at crucial positions. That said, the free agent market isn't yet totally dried up yet, as there are still at least five players the Panthers should still make an effort to sign.

An often-troubled receiver, Kenny Britt has been been better known for his behavior off the field than his production on it. With that said, Britt has always had fantastic talent, it’s just a matter of getting his head on straight. Ron Rivera and co. could be the right guys for the job.

Not all that long ago, Miles Austin was on the verge on becoming one of the NFL’s best receivers. Now, coming off a season in which Austin was only able to garner 24 receptions, his stock has never been lower. That said, it’s too early to give up on him.

Like many of the other players on this list, Eben Britton was once a great, young prospect, but as time has gone on, Britton seems to have taken a step back. However, he is still a very versatile lineman with the ability to thrive in Carolina.

Although he will never be any more than a league-average tackle, Brown is a great stopgap option for the Panthers as the team transitions away from the Jordan Gross era.
