The Indianapolis Colts had a great 2013 season on the football field as Andrew Luck became one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL, Robert Mathis had a year for the ages and the team won the AFC South with a 11-5 record. Unfortunately the Colts were knocked out in the Wild Card Round of the playoffs, but they have since taken to dramatically enhancing the roster this offseason. These are the five free agents the Colts still need to sign.

The Colts ranked 26th in the NFL in rushing yards against, which was spurred on in large part by a lack of talent at defensive tackle. During the offseason they haven't done much to solve this issue, but Kevin Williams remains a great option. Williams has been a force for the last 12 years and compiled impressive totals of 3.5 sacks and one interception in 2013. At 33 years old Williams can be had for a bargain, and the Colts must pounce.

4. Owen Daniels

The Colts have one good option at tight end in the form of Coby Fleener, but outside of that they have no real pass catching option at the position. This leaves Andrew Luck with a serious lack of check down options throwing the ball and makes Owen Daniels a great free agent target. Daniels would provide the option to do two tight ends sets, extra protection for the run game and could even rack up 1,000 yards with Luck at the helm.

3. Chris Clemons

Part of the reason the Colts struggled defensively last season was having no real force at safety, and they have done nothing to change this during the offseason. One veteran option available at the position is Chris Clemons, who has played for the Miami Dolphins the last five years and picked up 93 tackles, one interception and eight passes deflected in 2013. Clemons has the physical presence and speed to make a big difference for the Colts.

2. Alex Mack

Andrew Luck was sacked 32 times during the 2013 season, and the Colts released center Samson Satele as a result. Filling this void is very important, and Alex Mack is the type of physical, impact player who could snap the ball off to Luck for years to come. Mack made the Pro Bowl in 2013, is a behemoth of a man up front and at 28 years of age would be worth the hefty price the Colts would have to give up.

The Colts ranked 21st in the NFL in rushing yards per game in 2013, which in part came down to the fact that Trent Richardson was a huge disappointment. It is hard to expect Richardson will improve much this offseason, and even with Ahmad Bradshaw it is hard to imagine the Colts won't need another impact running back. Enter in Knowshon Moreno, who racked up 1,038 yards and 10 touchdowns in 2013 yet could still be had for a relative bargain.
