The Pittsburgh Steelers have been quiet this free agency period, having made a little impact on the market. In fact, they have lost more players to free agency than they have signed. With the market slowly quieting down, this is a great opportunity for the team to make some noise.

With a team that is looking to return to the playoffs, here are some players I believe the Steelers should sign before the NFL Draft.

A third round pick from the Buffalo Bills, Alex Carrington has not made a huge impact since he was drafted in 2010. But perhaps having him in the famous Steelers defense could give him the spark needed to have a strong career.

Another defensive end, the Steelers have a tough task at getting solid players for a depleted line. Enter Robert Ayers, who played with the Denver Broncos for four years and shows promise at the position. His skills should help the defense.

When the Steelers lost Emmanuel Sanders and Jerricho Cotchery, they knew the wide receiver position would need to be filled quickly. With the signing of Lance Moore, the Steelers should look towards Miles Austin as well. He is a solid No. 2 guy who can make plays in the open field.

2. Maurice Jones-Drew

With Le'Veon Bell the only running back returning to the Steelers, here is another offensive position that needs to be filled. Signing Maurice Jones-Drew could benefit both sides. They would be getting a power running back and Jones-Drew could find his career revitalized.

All teams need a bruiser at running back as well. LeGarrette Blount could be that back for the Steelers. Here is a player looking to get back on the map after a quick stint in New England. Perhaps playing in black and yellow could help that cause.
