The Indianapolis Colts are heading into the 2014 NFL Draft with a few needs they must address if it is to be a successful event. This year, the Colts don't have a first round draft pick, as they traded it to the Cleveland Browns for their trade last season for Trent Richardson.

Take a look at updated scenarios for the Colts, who will have the 59th pick in the 2nd Round.

Even though the Colts were able to re-sign Vontae Davis, there is still a pressing need to draft another solid cornerback. A player like Lamarcus Joyner would be great with his speed, height and natural defensive instincts.

The secondary for the Colts definitely needs an injection of raw talent to help prevent big plays down the field. Drafting a player like Deone Bucannon would help, as he is excellent in coverage kind of defenses and would be an anchor in the backfield.

The Colts need to have a new mantra on their secondary of being a tough defensive unit. A player who could immediately contribute to that mantra would be Bashaud Breeland. He's big, tough and could be a motivational kind of leader down the road in the NFL.

2. WR Jordan Matthews

The Colts could surprise many and instead of addressing their needs on defense, they might go after one of the top wide receivers in the draft. While it's unlikely they would go this route, if a player like Jordan Matthews is available, expect it to happen. Matthews would complement a quarterback like Andrew Luck extremely well in addition to adding some more depth in spread offensive formations.

The main player on the crosshairs for the Colts is hands down Cornerback Stanley Jean Baptiste. He's the most physical and fastest cornerback coming out of the draft, and will absolutely be a monster on a more physical Colts defense. His speed will help create havoc against opposing offenses in addition to bringing more hard-hitting action from the secondary. Baptiste is aggressive, and it will help the Colts win even more games.
