Several days ago, the Philadelphia Eagles made it known that Pro Bowl offensive guard Evan Mathis would be available for trade. Several insiders reported that it would take a third or fourth-round pick to get the deal done. While Mathis is 32 years old, he has played at a high level the past several seasons and has shown no signs of slowing down. Here are five potential landing spots for Mathis.

The Raiders' offensive line is a mess. After signing Rodger Saffold to a huge deal then having to take it back because of a failed physical, they went into panic mode. Today, their offensive line remains a mess. They can trade for Mathis and immediately solidify the line along with free agent signings Donald Penn and Austin Howard.

The only left guard the Rams have on their roster is Brandon Washington, and he only played 17 snaps last year so there is obviously a huge need here. While the Rams love stockpiling picks, this might be a trade they’d be willing to make.

The Chiefs lost both Jon Asamoah and Geoff Schwartz in free agency. While they have Jeff Allen, they could clearly use an upgrade. Mathis would make sense for the Chiefs as they like to use quick passes and rely on Jamaal Charles to lead their offense. Mathis is a proven talent and is a tremendous upgrade over Allen.

While the Seahawks won the Super Bowl, they still have a glaring need on the offensive line. Last year, all of their guards struggled and had negative grades by Pro Football Focus. Mathis would be an immediate upgrade for them.

The Dolphins have a glaring need at guard and right tackle, and it will be scary entering the season with two rookies on the line. If the Dolphins trade for Mathis, it would fill an immediate need and allow Miami to lean more towards best player available in the draft. This is a trade the Dolphins need to make, especially if it’s only a fourth rounder.
