With a new coach and some new players, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are looking to improve on a 2013 season that most fans want to forget. The signing of veteran Josh McCown and new coach Lovie Smith is a move in the right direction, but Tampa Bay can still improve the team from the free agent pool.

Here are five free agents that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers should still sign.

You can't legally have a bulldozer out on the field, but fullback Vonta Leach is the next best thing. He can catch passes when called upon, and he would create plenty of room for Doug Martin and Bobby Rainey.

4. Owen Daniels

Tampa Bay signed a stable tight end in Brandon Myers, but this team could still use the veteran leadership of Owen Daniels. Daniels is a nice big target for McCown, and the 31-year-old Daniels should come at a cheap price.

3. Miles Austin

Miles Austin has not gained much interest in free agency, but the Bucs can use that to their advantage. Austin is dedicated and hard working, and he can show up and do his job without any drama. Even though he has a hard time staying healthy, a one-year deal would help give McCown another weapon.

2. Kenny Britt

Mike Williams may soon be cut, and while still productive, Vincent Jackson is aging. Teams would have a difficult time covering Britt and Jackson.

1. DeSean Jackson

This is a pricey move, but wide receiver DeSean Jackson is worth the money. He is one of the fastest players in the NFL, and he would instantly provide a spark to this Tampa Bay offense. A double dose of Jackson could be just what this team needs.
