The Indianapolis Colts are running out of time. Andrew Luck, T.Y. Hilton, and the rest of the excellent 2013 Draft class will be due for big paydays in two years. It is up to Ryan Grigson to build a team of prospects that help the Colts win now and in the future. Here are five prospects that they should avoid at all costs this year.

The Colts shouldn't be looking for a running back, but Mason is one of the more overrated prospects this year. If the Colts feel the need to go in that direction, they should look for value in the later rounds.

Purifoy was a huge letdown at Florida, as the highly rated corner failed to impress the coaching staff and failed to help the team win games. If the Colts are looking for a cornerback, they should go in another direction.

The Colts might try to draft a safety to replace Antoine Bethea after he departed for San Francisco. Dion Bailey, however, probably isn't the answer. A better alternative would be Jimmy Ward from Northern Illinois.

2. Cyril Richardson

The Colts will probably try to draft a lineman in the draft to plug some roster holes on the offensive line. Richardson's name has come up, but his stock has dropped considerably since the start of last year. His pedestrian Senior Bowl and Combine performances didn't help. The Colts should do themselves a favor and pass on Richardson.

1. Mike Evans

Evans definitely won't be there for the Colts second round pick, but Ryan Grigson has proven that he is a very bold general manager. The Colts might be looking for Reggie Wayne's potential replacement in this draft, and they could be tempted to trade up to get a guy like Evans. Evans, while he is a solid athlete with good hands, has a questionable personality that would add some extra baggage to the Colts' roster.
