The Washington Redskins ended last year with a record of 3-13. Looking to bounce back this season, they will address some of their needs via the 2014 NFL Draft. With a new head coach in Jay Gruden, the philosophy will now be shifting to having much better success with talented wide receivers and a shutdown defense. Keep in mind the Redskins don't have a first-round pick this year.

Take a look at updated second Round scenarios for the Redskins.

The Redskins need to add some offensive weapons to build around quarterback Robert Griffin III. Drafting a speedy wide receiver like Allen Robinson would definitely help as he's the perfect slot receiver for the kind of offensive spread formations the Redskins love to use.

Many teams will be looking at what kind of big plays wide receiver Marquise Lee will bring to their offense. The Redskins might get lucky if he drops down to the second round when they are ready to draft their first prospect. Lee would be incredible on the Redskins with his speed and his big-play abilities once the football is in his hands.

The Redskins need to add some more depth and another playmaker to their defensive line. Drafting a player like defensive end Stephon Tuitt would accomplish both and start having opposing offenses worry about their front defensive line.

The Redskins will have plenty of choices at wide receiver with their second-round pick if they go that path. Another option should a player like Marqise Lee not be available would be Kelvin Benjamin. He would be a nice addition with his ability to make incredible receptions and accumulate plenty of yards after the catch.

It's no surprise the Redskins must improve their defensive secondary. The NFL has transformed into a passing league, so having a solid defensive backfield will make the difference between winning and losing. So far, the Redskins have their sights locked on cornerback Bradley Roby. He would bring that aggression into their secondary with his speed and physical style of play. He's also terrific in nickel coverage and would fit in perfectly.
