It's official! Wide receiver DeSean Jackson has agreed to a new contract to bring his services to the Washington Redskins. Here are five reasons why he is a terrible fit for the team.

Jackson made a bold move by staying inside the NFC East so he can now get revenge vs. the Philadelphia Eagles twice a year. Oftentimes when that is the case, players tend to get emotional and let it get the best of them. Expect to see plenty of poor performances against the Eagles year in and year out. If he were smart, he would have went to a team far away from the NFC East.

It's been well-documented across many media outlets that Jackson has a horrible attitude problem. He doesn't get along well with those around him when he doesn't get his way. This will turn into a huge issue and major distraction throughout the season.

Jackson will now have to learn an entirely new playbook that is very WR-friendly. It's a high-octane spread formation kind of style that benefits all WRs on the team, not just one. He will need to understand and grasp the concept of teamwork for it to all succeed. He will have major problems understanding this philosophy since he is used to being the main receiver and wants the football every single opportunity he gets.

Head coach Chip Kelly is an extremely effective player-friendly coach who generally gets along with everyone around him. If Jackson couldn't get on his good side, what makes you think Jay Gruden will have any control over his tantrums? Jackson is going to run wild and do whatever he wants with no real authority to keep him in check because of his new contract with the team.

With Robert Griffin III, Pierre Garcon and Santana Moss being key members of the Redskins offense, there are a lot of different egos and characters that need time to gel together to have success. Throwing a temperamental player into that lineup is going to create a clash never before seen on the Redskins. If they start losing games, expect to see Jackson snap and create headlines for all the wrong reasons.
