The Denver Broncos have had a lot of success when it comes to drafting players in the later rounds. The franchise has seen players like Terrell Davis and Shannon Sharpe drafted on the final day, and have had such great careers in the NFL.

Here are five players that I believe the Broncos should target on the final day of the draft, which covers Round 5 through Round 7.

5. Isaiah Crowell - RB, Alabama State

An athlete who has crafty moves in the backfield and has the abilities to become a bruiser, Isaiah Crowell's abilities to out run defenders once in the open field is great. His character issues could be a huge risk, but the Broncos might be willing to take a chance.

4. Dezmen Southward - SS, Wisconsin

The Broncos are looking for more depth at the secondary position. Dezmen Southward is a great player, especially when the team needs someone to close in on receivers and disrupt them. Even though he has only played football for a few years, he has the ability to learn a lot and become a dependable player.

3. Marqueston Huff - FS, Wyoming

If the Broncos needed a late pick who can play both corner and safety, Marqueston Huff is their guy. While he has small hands and is inconsistent as a tackler, his turning motion and acceleration could be the difference on being burned by a wide out and breaking up a pass, preventing the big gain.

2. De'Anthony Thomas - RB, Oregon

With the departure of Knowshon Moreno, the Broncos could use some depth at the running back position. De'Anthony Thomas could be a key contributor to the team. His running, receiving, pass blocking, and abilities on special teams make him the ultimate hybrid player that could be the difference for the franchise.

1. Crockett Gillmore - TE, Colorado State

With Julius Thomas emerging as a star tight end, the team could look to see who could become his backup or learn from him. Crockett Gillmore has the abilities to become a great player in the NFL. His route running is impressive, as well as his ability to separate himself from the defender. His biggest attribute is blocking. He can knock defenders off the ground, which relieves pressure for Peyton Manning.
