The Seattle Seahawks proved they were the best team in the NFL last season. They are also the best team in the NFL when it comes to the NFL Draft. Seattle has hit on more draft picks than any other team in the last three seasons, and there is no reason to think that will change in 2014. Seattle’s success is due to their ability to find talent on day two and three of the draft. Here are five players Seattle should target on day two this year.

Seattle lost DT Red Bryant in free agency and could look for a replacement in the draft. Justin Ellis is a projected third rounder and could be a nice selection for the Seahawks. He had 48 tackles and 5.5 sacks in his senior season at Louisiana Tech.

Another DT that will likely go in the third round is LSU defensive lineman Ego Ferguson. Ferguson had 58 tackles and one sack for the Tigers last season.

Seattle also lost WR Golden Tate in free agency, and a possible replacement could be Vanderbilt WR Jordan Matthews. He is the cousin of legendary NFL WR Jerry Rice. In his last two seasons, Matthews recorded 201 receptions.

Will Sutton is a defensive lineman out of Arizona State. Some believe he is a bit undersized, but some scouts compare him to Geno Atkins who has had three great seasons with the Bengals.

One WR that might intrigue Seattle in the second round is Donte Moncrief of Mississippi. Moncrief ran great routes and had only one dropped pass last season.
