With the NFL Draft just a month away, the Philadelphia Eagles are in full swing. This team surprised us all by making it to the postseason in Chip Kelly's first year under the helm. The Eagles will be using the NFL Draft to take that next step in their ultimate goal, drafting the players needed to fill holes on the team.

With that in mind, here are five Eagles draft rumors that you need to know.

The Eagles have missed out on quite a few chances to better their defense through free agency and cannot afford to do that in the draft. Whether it is to find a starter or just for depth, the main focus of the team should be defense, especially on the defensive line and secondary.

Let's face it, the Eagles' offensive line is aging and the team could definitely use some young talent at that position. Two of the five players on the offensive line are on the other side of 30. This team should be looking towards the future and taking a few linemen in the draft, either as starters or as backups.

With only six picks in the draft, the Eagles may not be able to acquire all their needs. There have been some rumors going around that the team could package some players for some draft choices this year. This draft class is expected to be huge, so the Eagles would like to get the best talent possible, and six picks are not going to do that.

2. Place Kicker Could Be Drafted

The Eagles have not had a lot of success since drafting Alex Henery back in 2011. The coaching staff have been going easy on him as he has not had a lot of chances to make attempts from 50 yards or more. His lack of leg strength on kickoffs have been an issue as well. If this team wants to succeed, they need to use the draft to at least bring in some competition.

There were a few shocks when we all found out that the Eagles were releasing Jackson. This leaves a huge hole for a third wide receiver. Whomever they draft for the position may not be able to contribute from day one, but they do need to provide that competitive nature for the position.
