The Tennessee Titans have had a lot of changes this offseason with the arrival of Ken Whisenhunt and the departure of Chris Johnson and Alterraun Verner, but they could still have a successful season in 2014. Tennessee has to make excellent decisions moving forward if they are to compete for a playoff berth. Here are the Titans’ five biggest draft needs going into the 2014 NFL Draft.

The Titans have a talented young receiving squad, but another pick from late in the draft would give this team more weapons for Jake Locker.

Although Shonn Greene is likely to start for the Titans, Tennessee will still need to pick up a third back to compete in training camp. With the success of late-round picks like Zac Stacy, there should be decent picks available late.

3. Defensive End

Tennessee had trouble getting to the quarterback last season, and a fast defensive end would help out immediately.

With Alterraun Verner no longer with the team, the Titans need a new cornerback who could immediately make an impact on the field.

Although the Titans have a decent linebacking group, they need a top-level NFL talent. With a decent secondary, Tennessee has to start getting to the quarterback.
