The Kansas City Chiefs would love to have more picks in the 2014 NFL Draft believed to be loaded with talent. Unfortunately for the Chiefs, they lost their second-round selection in the Alex Smith trade. It could be tough to trade down for picks this year with so many other teams wanting to do it, but it certainly isn't impossible. Here are five teams the Chiefs should target for a trade down.

The Vikings will get an extra pick at the end of the third round (No. 96 overall) from the Seattle Seahawks. They could use it, or their other third-rounder (No. 72) to move up from their No. 40 pick to Kansas City's first pick at No. 23. The former is more likely, but if the Vikings see someone they love drop to the Chiefs' spot, they could be willing to pay more.

The Rams have 12 picks in this draft, which gives the team plenty of bargaining chips to help trade up. They already have two first-round selections, so why not go for three? St. Louis will obviously have their eye on a lot of first-round talent already. If one of their targets drops to No. 23, the Chiefs could get a nice trade offer.

The Ravens received four compensatory picks in this year's draft, including an extra third-rounder and two more fourth-rounders. While they aren't allowed to trade those selections, it does give them more freedom to trade their other picks.

The Browns have five selections in the first three rounds, including two picks (No. 26 and No. 35) shortly after the Chiefs' No. 23 spot. Kansas City would probably be happy to drop to one of those picks for one of Cleveland's two third-round selections (No. 71 or No 83).

Not only do the 49ers have six selections in the first three rounds, but the organization loves to trade with the Chiefs. Andy Reid and John Dorsey have only been in Kansas City for one season, and they've already completed two trades with them. San Francisco wanting to move up from No. 30 to No. 23 is easily the Chiefs best chance at more picks in this draft.
