The NFL Draft is fast approaching, and most critics cannot tell you who is hot, outside of the first round, but I can. Ozzie Newsome and John Harbaugh are looking for “football players” -- guys with a raw talent who have heart in them during their game-play. My list has those guys, and fans will need to remember these names as they may be called to don the “black and purple” in later rounds.

Baltimore is looking for a big boy to anchor the RT position now that the “blindside” is being protected by Eugene Monroe. Seantrel Henderson is a beastly, long armed, athletic bookend who will make it very difficult for most pass-rushers to get by him. He’s solid in the run-game as well.

4. QB Tajh Boyd, Clemson

It is no secret the Ravens want to bring in a QB to compete with Tyrod Taylor this offseason. Why not bring in a guy who has been tossing the rock to the top receiver in this year’s Draft? Tajh Boyd brings in all the intangibles of a starting QB -- he has leadership experience and knows how to win. He will fit behind Joe Flacco just fine.

3. LB Chris Borland, Wisconsin

Nothing boring about this guy. He is a man’s man; he comes after ball carriers like a ravenous dog. This a real run-stuffer who stands ball-carriers up and abruptly escorts them to the turf. I guarantee there is not a more pure tackler in the Draft than Chris Borland.

This is a Gator who will not be ignored if Baltimore sees him at the right spot. He may be small, but he is a shifty little tike who has good hands and looks to see pay-dirt after every catch. People are intrigued by what Wes Welker brings to the game; well, he opened the door for guys like Patton. After the top receivers are off the board, this is one who will help Flacco tremendously if still available.

This is definitely my No. 1 guy because he may not make it out of the first round with his talent. He has great vision as a center-fielder and loves to hit. His size and speed would be a great fit next to Matt Elam in the secondary. If he makes it past the first round, look for Baltimore to pull the trigger.
