The New York Jets have had an interesting offseason so far and now look forward to having a strong 2014 NFL Draft. With some needs to fill at cornerback, wide receiver, and thinking about additions to bolster their future the Jets have a nice wish list.

Take a look at five names all Jets fans need to know for the upcoming draft.

While the Jets re-signed Jeff Cumberland for the next two years, they need to draft a playmaking tight end to develop under him with a knack for creating big plays down the field and the ability to be a difference-maker on offense. Tight end Eric Ebron fits this bill and more, especially with his efficiency in the end zone.

Even though the Jets signed Eric Decker and Jacoby Ford in the offseason via free agency, they still want to add even more depth to their receiving corps. Someone who has speed and the ability to go deep while making incredible catches to move the chains would be ideal. A player like Odell Beckham Jr. would be a tremendous slot receiver to have and would complement those around him very nicely.

Wide receiver Marqise Lee is considered by most to be one of the top three players at his position in the entire draft. The Jets could absolutely use his consistency to make big plays every opportunity he gets once the ball finds his hands. While the Jets would be reluctant to trade up for Lee, anything is possible if they want to make some major noise in the draft.

The Jets are depleted when it comes to their depth at cornerback. It's one of the areas they will absolutely address in the draft since they need true shutdown corners to have a top-ranked NFL defense. They are looking at Justin Gilbert due to his ability to keep up with the best receivers thrown his way.

Cornerback Darqueze Dennard is the real deal when it comes to his defense. A true shutdown corner, Dennard is tough, smart and makes great instinctive decisions during key moments late in football games. Many say he fits the mold of the style of play Jets fans have known to see and love in Darrelle Revis. Last year alone he had seven interceptions including two returned for touchdowns. Dennard is amazing and would be tremendous on the Jets.
