Another year, another new regime. GM Ray Farmer and company try to dig the Browns out of the AFC North basement. They have five picks in the top 100 in this year's NFL Draft and here are five dark horse targets for them in the first round.

If the Browns go after their quarterback with the No. 4 pick, Kelvin Benjamin would be a heck of a pickup. Benjamin paired with Josh Gordon would be quite the mismatch nightmare for opposing teams.

There's a reason Cleveland has been through 20 quarterbacks over the last 15 seasons. Wherever they draft their quarterback, they need more depth and talent on their offensive line to go with Pro Bowlers Joe Thomas and Alex Mack. With Greg Robinson, Jake Matthews, Taylor Lewan and Zack Martin most likely off the board by the 26th pick, it would be wise for the Browns to grab a lineman who can make an impact instantly.

Although there are plenty of needs aside from secondary that Cleveland is in need of, drafting a player like Fuller to team up with Pro Bowl cornerback Joe Haden would definitely catch the attention of opposing AFC North quarterbacks.

2. Ryan Shazier, LB

The Browns have been lacking a big time play maker in the middle for awhile now. After letting D'Qwell Jackson go and signing Karlos Dansby, a young player like Shazier would be a perfect fit. His stock is on the rise after he added weight to his frame while maintaining his superb speed.

It's no secret the Browns are in need of a quarterback. Whether it's to backup Brian Hoyer or take over as the 21st starting QB, the need has to be addressed. If the Browns aren't sold on some of the bigger names to take at the No. 4 spot, Garoppolo could be the biggest dark horse of the draft. In 2013, he threw for 5,050 yards, 53 touchdown passes and nine interceptions while completing 66 percent of his passes playing for Eastern Illinois.
