In the 2013-14 NFL season, the Jacksonville Jaguars finally showed signs of improvement under new head coach Gus Bradley. However, if the Jaguars really want to continue to take strides forward, the team is going to need to nail the 2014 NFL Draft class. With that in mind, ladies and gentlemen, here are five draft sleepers who fit perfectly for the Jaguars.

5. Brent Urban

Tyson Alualu hasn’t nearly lived up to expectations since being drafted in the first round, and as a result, it’s best if the Jaguars start looking for someone to take over for him. Brent Urban is more potential than production at this point, however, he could develop into a solid starter in a few seasons.

4. Jeremiah Attaochu

Dekoda Watson isn’t exactly starting material for the Jaguars, however, luckily for them, this draft class is deep in outside linebacker talent. Jeremiah Attaochu has been overlooked for much of the draft process, however, he has the raw talent to succeed.

3. Pierre Desir

Dwayne Gratz is a solid cornerback on one side of the field, however, the other corner position is a weak spot on the defense. Enter Pierre Desir, a ball-hawking corner with the talent to become an immediate starter, and the Jaguars could have one of the NFL’s most improved secondaries.

2. Donte Moncrief

Justin Blackmon has been an absolute failure for the Jaguars since he was drafted, and while the team has Cecil Shorts manning one receiver position, Ace Sanders is better-suited in a third receiver role. That’s where Donte Moncrief comes in. Moncrief is a deceptive athlete who has the potential to thrive across from Shorts.

1. Jimmy Garoppolo

There’s no doubting that the Jaguars desperately need a franchise quarterback. That said, it appears that the team is going to target a defensive player with the No. 3 overall pick in the draft. However, in Round 2, the team would be wise to pick up someone like Jimmy Garoppolo. While Garoppolo isn’t NFL-ready quite yet, after a year behind Chad Henne, he could take over and thrive.
